Equine Assisted Qualifications (EAQ) Banbury Hill is a charming 7 acre site beside an old Roman Hill Fort near Sturminster Newton in North Dorset.

The site hosts many activities for clients of all ages and abilities by helping care for ponies, cultivating a vegetable plot, tending to our 55 animals and many more, all set against panoramic views of the North Dorset countryside which are inspiring simply to sit, admire and enjoy.

EAQ Banbury Hill is a place where people of all ages can be at one with nature, develop their self-confidence and explore communication skills through guided interaction with animals, other learners and the natural environment.

There is a highly successful maths programme for individuals or small groups of children aged 8-13 who may be underachieving at school and a pre-GCSE maths group to develop understanding for 14-16 year olds.

The centre can provide assisted learning for all aspects of the National Curriculum, being learner-led in maths, english, geography, science and many other subjects.

We can offer NVQs in animal care and many more areas.
